MINUTES- January 12, 2009

1.       Cayenne Pepper called the meeting to order @ 6:30

2.       School Teacher Report:  Polka Dot Bandit made motion to accept minutes as written.  Motion passed

3.       Territorial Governor’s Report: Nothing to report. 

4.       Redding Report:  Other lower groups will be doing brush burning/ work party cleanup on the 17th.

5.       Old Business

Gate: Has been delivered but not installed yet.  Should be installed before the end of the month.

Porta Potties:  Haven’t gotten them yet.  One should be in cowboy area one on police range.  Cayenne looked at them and isn’t sure if we will get usable ones.

6.       New Business

Gun show:  will be the first weekend in March.  Cowboys will be only ones working the table.  Signup sheet will be available at the next meeting.

7.       Ambush 2009

Junior Shoot Fees: Keep Junior fees the same at $20 but note that price is to cover meals.

Shooter Gifts:  Red Rock will get quote for bullet screwdrivers and possibly a sponsorship.

May want to buy shot shells to give away.

Silver Buck will do water bottle bag.

We may have several women’s only gifts.

Night Shoot: Stranger was not present.  Tabled until next meeting.

Application Packet:

                Round Count:  125 R 125 P, 75 SG plus more for sides

Awards:  Silver Buck will talk to same trophy shop

Budget:  Red Rock is working on it

Stages:  membership had opportunity to vote for 10 stages out of 13 submitted.  All stages were approved, pending word changes on one.

Side Matches:  Silver Buck is working on a detailed list of side matches to be offered.

Shooters will need to bring their own .22s for side matches.

Sponsors:  Red Rock moved to keep sponsor levels the same with stage sponsor @$50- $99 and Match sponsor $100+.  Motion Passed

Camping:  let everyone camp where they wish.  Use meadow for overflow.

Wood:  Need junk wood for fire starter

Wash water:  PDB moved to buy 4 -7 gal. water jugs for washing.  Motion passed.  Red Rock Ranger will get them.

Entertainment:  Bennie Macomber has a group that will play on Sat. night

Photography:  Will be the same deal as last year.

Ace Faro volunteered to do a write up for Chronicle
